artist biographies
Anne Guest lives and works in North Worcestershire and has an MA in Fine Art from Birmingham City University. Her art is inspired by the beauty, fragility and vulnerability of the natural world, sometimes quirky, sometimes serious but always curious. She has been shortlisted for several prize exhibitions including the Jerwood Drawing Prize and the Ruskin Drawing Prize. She has exhibited nationally in both solo and joint exhibitions and nationally and internationally in numerous group exhibitions. Richard Nicholls is a Worcester based artist and photographer. His work is primarily about pattern, rhythm and texture, and ranges from representational photographic images of the natural world, through to abstract pieces; some purely aesthetic, others are driven by real world events. He studied Creative Digital Media at the University of Worcester, is a founder member and co-organiser of Worcestershire Open Studios and an artist member and volunteer with ArtCan. He works from a studio space at Bevere Gallery on the outskirts of Worcester. www.richardnicholls.co.uk
